i think there should be an option to have a blank board and a pallet of colours down the side of the board with unlimited tiles. I think that this will work well because its really annoying moving all the pieces so you can start you design in the middle.[/quote]

I wouldn't say it's annoying to move pieces so you can start a design in the middle. It's daunting if anything, but I think it's actually a worthwile exercise because it lets you become familiar with the colours you have to work with. IMO of course.

yeah, some people have snapshoted pallets or things off to the side, so look for those and then copy the positions and colors into your room

Moving tiles out of the way doesn't bother me. I agree with freaky friday, actually.

Plus now it helps you get the awards for moving certain amounts of tiles. Very Happy

You can import a snapshot with the tiles moved to the side. Here's one that I use all the time:

If you've got enough patience, you could create your own border and save it as a personal snapshot. That's what I've done. That way if you want to leave any of it intact it's credited to you Wink

Also I like the challenge of realising you've not got enough of a certain colour and improvising to finish the picture.
