Continuation of issues relating to room – ilovecats (No prizes for guessing what’s in that room)
While making further updates to the room the brush freezes and I seem to get lockup in the flash display area, although I can manage to click on edit room to go back, then re-enter to continue. Once I get in again it soon freezes again giving me grief…and pretty much stopping any further image updates…
While loading the room I get the % loading and then get a white Flash display with my name across it, but the get a message saying ‘A script in this movie is causing Adobe Flash 9 to run slowly. If it continues to run, your computer may become unresponsive. Do you want to abort the script?’ And I have to say no for the room to load properly.
This worried me, so I attempted a snapshot only to have numerous repeats of this message while trying to take the snapshot. First one failed, so I rebooted and then tried again. Once again I had the same messages loading room and attempting snapshot but eventually did get a personal snapshot taken.
When clicking on viewing the snapshot from my personal snapshots gallery I also get the same above message when loading…so I presume everyone would get it if I made it public.. Doh…
I think I may have pushed this room as far as I want to risk (Especially as still Beta)…Not the first problem in this room… This is a pity because it has more potential with a few more strokes. Unless the Devels (Who have done wonders to date) can adequately assist here I may have to put this to bed permanently…
This does the same for me on two different machines…

Does the forum item here... Snapshots in jpg mean I can go public with this problematic snapshot...
Perhaps this snapshot could have 'Use jpg default' linked to it so that it avoids the problems...

Hi Brrr,
as we can't rely on everyone turning on 'slow computer mode' before viewing the artwork in question, we think it would be best to wait until we have the 'artwork as background' feature live.
Can't give a definite date for this feature though.
Sorry 'bout that |
