Could we have the ability to mark areas of the graffiti as transparent?

At the moment if you have a white background then the artist is using white to clear away unwanted bits of image... Likewise if the image is black the artist would use black to clear way unwanted areas of image…

Perhaps the better way of describing this would be to say…
    1. Could we have an eraser option to immediately set areas back to background colour
and / or
    2. Transparency level that allows to gradually bring in the background.
Not describing that very well perhaps but I’m sure you devels get the gist…

This would be especially beneficial and perhaps necessary when the aforementioned ability to bring in another snapshot as background or photos as backgrounds etc comes into effect…

Again, thanks

Well, what we have in the pipeline isn't quite what you describe but it may fulfill the same purpose.

We're planning to offer a "select" tool and a "marquee" tool. The select tool would select individual strokes.

Once selected, using the color picker would update the attributes of that stroke. As you know, stroke attributes are color, brush size (ie. stroke width) and opacity (ie. transparency).

If you use the marquee, then all strokes would be selected that are at least partially within the marquee. Using the shift key and the control key, it will be possible to add and remove individual strokes from the group of selected strokes.

Using the color picker would set all selected strokes to the chosen attribute. So if you pick "red" as a color, all selected strokes would change color. Same for stroke width and opacity.

In addition, any selected path(s) could be deleted simply by pressing the delete key on your keyboard.

Ambitiously, for the future, we also plan to allow moving single and multiple strokes and perhaps even rotating them, and maybe, maybe, we'll even be able to implement "draw behind"! However, these are future features that are quite time consuming to implement. Right now we've got much bigger fish to fry, so to speak.
