With great pride I can reveal a new feature:

Larger thumbnails in the gallery views!

Our new system has several advantages:

* 20% larger thumbs: now 146x90 px (was 130x80 px)
* better image quality - a lot clearer, better colors and more detail
* 30% smaller file size -> faster loading of gallery views

Of course the high quality artworks benefit most from this:

NOTE: Clear your browser's image cache!

If your browser has cached the old thumbnails (and I am certain it has), then thumbnails will NOT look any better. Your browser will have the old 130x80 thumbs in your local browser cache, and thus all the thumbs look just larger but WORSE in quality than before. To get the most benefit from this improvement, you should clear your browser's cache.

In Firefox, you can do this like so: Go to "Preferences/Privacy/Cache" and click on "Clear cache now". You can also click CONTROL-SHIFT-delete and and little window pops up where you can "clear private data". Just select cache, and that's it.

In IE, go to "Tools - Internet Options - Temporary Internet Files" and clear the cache from there.

Isn't it amazing how much better the thumbnail images look?

It’s quite impressive how much that 20% increase improves the look of a great many of those thumbnails and those that already looked good have just been improved all the more. Nice.
