It's finally there: You can now show off your favorite artworks on your profile page.

We've opted for a very simple implementation. No Ajax, no fancy nothing, just simply specify the snapshot number and some (optional) text, and that's it.

I only have one small problem now - choosing which three to have out of the hundreds I think are amazing Laughing

Seriously though, thanks for a great feature!

Yeah, it's really hard to choose 3 to feature in your profile...

We're still working on that favorites feature.

1) Every user will get a full page of unlimited favorites, accessible from the profile. Just like the first 3, all favorites can have some optional text associated with them.

2) You'll be able to choose whether the profile shows the top 3 or any random 3 from your list of favorites.

3) You'll be able to add any artwork to your list of favorites directly from any artwork page.

4) You'll be able to see how many users (and who) listed an artwork as a favorite.

Feature 4 is already implemented. Look at the bottom of any good(!) artwork page, such as

Features 1-3 will have to wait for next week! Smile

Great news I like it.

Just a couple of questions. The Show random 3 option, does it cycle through the favourites or is it a static random three? Will there be a "drag & drop" style option in the future for arranging the favourites?

Hi Bebi,

the 'show random 3' option cycles through the favourites. A drag & drop feature was in the pipeline, but I'm not sure if it still is. It would certainly be nice.
