Hi All,
I thought it was time to resurrect this idea.
The forum entry opened by Freaky Friday Share Your Favourite Artworks hasn’t been added to for a long time (Only had one specific reply) and there is now a huge selection of mosaics to choose from.
The forum feature requested by Ryx My Favourite Snapshots Feature was getting to the point but never eventuated. (You can select your tracking option but that doesn’t show others your selection which is a large part of the interest)
The forum entry opened by Oli best ever mosaic got there but could now do with being in a more centralised location and making use of the new tags…i.e.
I see this as being an evolving selection as people’s favourites are likely to change over time and since there isn’t a direct ability to select and let others see that selection through TheBroth I thought we could create our own via the blogs; seems the best place for it. (Devels - you could assist here if you saw fit by adding a new blog category of Favourite Art..?)
Let’s consider the options… These are some groupings I can think off.(Feel free to add others)
Your favourite Personal Snapshot (Which one of your own snapshots makes you feel worthy)
Your all time Favourite Snapshot.. (Across the board selection)
Your favourite (Subject) Obvious...
Etc..
Perhaps give a small editorial about why it makes your list and please include credit to the artist under each snapshot (I know you can see who by clicking but it would be nice to see at a glance without having to go to each image)
This is just a suggestion to bring back what I considered a very interesting idea and hope that others see this as such. It would be nice if Devels could provide a specific feature similar to the tracking feature that covers it but this blog idea will suffice for now. Hopefully others agree.
Let me know your views on this and if its sound create your blogs accordingly. I have created a few of my own anyway (or will very soon if you read this quickly)...so take a perusal. Let’s see if this can prove to be a good idea.

Favourites are always hard to pick, especially when trying to pick one that I've done myself. 
I enjoyed reading about your favourite selections, Brrr-FrostNZ. Helpful Walrus's green creature with the wings is also one of my favourites.
I'll try to find some time to blog about some of my favourites soon. |
