When I comment on a Developer Blog, it immediately says that I made the comment an hour ago. This makes me unable to edit my comment after I submitted it due to the time lapse. Note that this bug is NOT affecting neither the regular user blogs nor the gallery.

I think that's not actually a bug. It's a feature we all came to enjoy and expect as we have it elsewhere on TheBroth, but the developer blog doesn't have this feature. The time being wrong is odd, but this is independent of the fact that comments in the developer bog can't be edited once submitted.

has it always been like that maybe my memory's horrible but I thought I edited a developer blog once.

There was actually an error with the time display of the comments in the Developer blog. It is now fixed.

Glad to help. Anyway, I'm wondering why the developer blog comments can't be edited? I'd like to know the reasoning behind this, because sometimes my sentences turn out like crap and I really really want to fix them and make them clearer and better Smile .

Good point 37, I have often wondered that myself. Thank you for pointing it out. I've been wanting to edit my posts and found that I couldn't. I always wondered why and then forgot about it. I remembered when I read your post. It would be nice if we could edit our comments.
