|
|
I've noticed that I've missed a lot of chat messages while browsing through other webpages while in Chat on The Broth. I feel like I'm being rude or something. A chime of some sort would be helpful to announce that a new chat message was sent? Also, have the tab blink to also visually let you know?
Just suggestions, I know you guys are extremely busy and all. |

| I miss lots of chat messages too, and after they are sent, it's kinda hard to scroll up to read the messages when people are still chatting. |

yes, i've ALSO thot about this. but then again...wouldnt that make the broth into more of a site/program like AIM, or MSN messenger...or some of those CHAT programs...and perhaps less ART based...hmm. i can see it both ways. any other opinions?~ |

| If there is a chime feature please let us be able to turn it off because i hate those. they're so annoying and with the amount of messages people like chatterbox spit at me it'd never shut up! |

Hmm... I didn't realize I typed so much! I apologize. Yeah, an on/off buttom would work like magic! Oh, another thing, it would ONLY work if you had minimized the browser page to let you know a chat message arrived. It wouldn't do it all of the time.
KG, you've got a point, but I'd like to be able to recieve those messages if I can.

| I see what you mean IMM, I sometimes get bored by some people who never say anything. It's like... "hi" and then 20-minutes pass by, "Ok, nice meeting you bye." C'mon tell me a little more information!! |

A chime, maybe not. A slight tick, yes.
It wouldn't annoy people because it's just a slight 'tick' but it'd signify a message was sent. |

i dont think its NECASSARY, but may be nice to have...then again. it might lead people to focus more on the chat, and less on the artworks. ( say some1 has a window open and then the broth under that window...and they heard a noise and then they responded to the chat...there only there for the chat and rnt really making ART.) it goes obth ways i guess. ~ |

yeah, id be nice to have if there was a on/off feature as imm mentioned b4. otherwise if we didnt have a on/off feature, maybe the window would blink. *sound is more annoying than a blinking window thingy* ... ~ |

Maybe we could have a customisable .wav file....
You could be alerted by ..."OY! I'M FLIPPIN' TALKIN' TO YOU!"
Or maybe not... |
