Am I getting old or what? Btw, a birthday is approaching so that might be it.
I've noticed several new-members have been slightly moving a couple of tiles and then placing those works back in the gallery. I mentioned to a player that they could edit or improve a past artwork of mine and place it in the gallery ONLY if they: #1 Changed it enough #2 Improved it drastically
Help? Do we need to run by the Gallery Posting as well? Should this probably be a pop-up on the list of A Welcoming Committee to new members? Has it bugged anyone else to see previous works slightly edited and then placed back in the Gallery? |

| Yeah, I agree they keep editing them but I have a feeling they don't know like the guidelines for submitting a new snapshot to the gallery |

| it bugs me too.when i do an art work and only change a few tiles i keep it as a PRIVATE one so i can look at it on my own and that way i am happy and (hopefully) so is everyone else! |

yes... it is annoying when artworks r put in the gallery that are changed, but only slightly. maybe there shud b a reference page of guidelines of submitting a picture into the gallery, maybe along with who takes the snapshot and such...opinions? ~ |

| i definately agree that there should be some sort of guidelines for who takes the snapshot,which pictures are submitted to the public gallery,if they have been changed enough and so on.i think it is a very good idea...what about the admin? |

yes - some simple guidelines would be very helpful.
I started the 'who should take the snapshot' topic off a while ago and rhain made some good suggestions at the time - must still be back there somewhere |

this is it.
http://www.thebroth.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=1643&highlight=#1643
specifically:
| Quote: | yeah this is an interesting topic. For me the etiquette of who takes the snap is in the order that follows;
1) the person who owns the room
2) the person who started the picture
3) the person who has done the most (constructive)work on the picture
4) whoever else is decided amoungst the group. eg; the other day there was a team and 1 person had never done a snapshot so we let them just for the experience.
it would probably be hard to regulate this as such but maybe there is a way they can do it so the right person gets the credit |
