Why register as a player?
If you register at TheBroth, you have access to all the functionality that TheBroth offers.
TheBroth will remember your name next time you visit TheBroth.com - no more of these silly random animal names... "Lazy Duck", anyone?
You can...
* reserve your player name
You will have a unique name that nobody else can register.
* use the snapshot function
The coolest thing ever - produce as many snapshots as you want.
* rate other players and see who rated you
Are they not "getting it"? Are there just downright bullies? If you're registered you can rate other players' behaviour (and you can see who rated you!), contributing to the possible removal of bullies to the exile.
* rate items in the gallery and submit comments.
The fun part is to comment on the snapshots (some of them are truly works of art!)
* open your own room(s) |

Seems like a lot of people misunderstood registration and sign up as things like this.
Examples:
Jolly Mosquito
Splendid Mosquito
Zany Raptor
Funny Hummingbird
Eager Swordfish
They all have 0 posts, but still, it appears these people are either confused or like silly names for some reason. |

For some time, when you registered with TheBroth, the initial user name was also a random name. You could then change your name later on.
As of today, we're changing this!
For now on, new users can choose their username during registration, after which their name will become permanent and cannot be changed later on.
Existing members that have a username that they're not too happy with have a few days before their name will become permanent.
So - from now on (July 28th 2006), you have about a week to either confirm or change your old name, from then on they'll be permanent.
PS. The recent random names weren't all that bad... I am still laughing at "Boneless Potato" and "Stuffed Giraffe". You couldn't make these up if you tried! |
