It would be cool if you could import a picture (of yourself for example).... And that the Broth would transfer that into a mosaic automatically

Believe it or not, we initially actually had that feature, and we took it out.

Basically what happens is that it created photorealistic neatly aligned mosaics that were obviously not hand-made.

They just looked like incredibly low resolution images with oversized pixels. While it is in a way cool to see that in TheBroth, you'd begin to wonder about other artworks too.

For example, let's take a look at this snapshot:


Looks like a pink rose, right - in fact, it looks like a photograph of a rose, and you'd wonder whether there wasn't some automated script behind it.

What we'd much rather encourage is conventional tile pushing, ideally of the collaborative kind.
