Thanks for the clarifications Smile

As I said before, we won't be lifting the tile limit.

When I introduced the future feature of using anything as a background image (mosaic, graffiti, uploaded photos), I said "you'll be able to make mosaics with unlimited tiles."

This means, you can finish a mosaic, take a snapshot, then use that snapshot as new backdrop on yet another mosaic. Again you have only 1000 tiles, but now with a backdrop of something made out of 1000 tiles.

If you keep doing that, and take a snapshot of the final multi-layered/multi-generation image, it may look like it's more than 1000 tiles, that's all.

I really think that's not the same as actually having more than 1000 tiles.

And yes, we're already busy designed useful means to keep artworks of different type separated. Just as an example (this is NOT the final idea of how it will be so please don't quote me on it!):

We may have the following galleries, displayed on the main gallery page:
* Most recent = Any type of artwork (mosaic, graffiti, mashup...)
* Best recent Mosaics
* Best recent Graffiti
* Best recent Mashup

The new type "Mashup" would be any type of artwork where either an artwork or an uploaded photo is selected as background.

In addition, we may also have these galleries
* Highest rated Mosaics
* Highest rated Graffiti
* Highest rated Mashup

For these galleries, we may just have links from the main gallery page, or we only show very small thumbnails of the best 3 of each type.

Once again, these are just thoughts that we're toying with right now. How it will really end up is something that we're yet to discover. Often the best plans turn out not to be all that great in practice. Sometimes we'll just have to try stuff and see whether it works in the real world.

Once again, your feedback and suggestions are very important, and I'm certainly happy to discuss ways how we can best deal with all these wonderful new developments and features without making TheBroth worse! Smile

Any update on when we will be able to rewind or load a snapshot into a room (Graffiti). I have made a blunder in a room that I'd like to go back and make amends on... (Not that I like to admit I’m fallible)

I am close to max on strokes so cant paint over...

Brrr...

We're reworking how the graffiti mode works internally, hence the delays. For example, those nasty dots that show up when you paint with transparent strokes should be a thing of the past soon. However, this requires changes to the internal data structure - quite a big effort really. Can't say when this will come but I'd expect it all to take at least two weeks.
