Lately there has been some discussion as to whether all this newfangled Flash goodness revealed in our early beta (that shows mostly tile rotation) is really all that good, and voices have been heard that expressed a desire to preserve the good ol' Javascript-only TheBroth that didn't have all these bells and whistles. Issues have been raised here and here. Fair points, no doubt about that.
In order for you to be make up your own mind whether you like where TheBroth is going, here's some images from our top-secret developer labs. (No it's not some snapshots of us playing table tennis all day long!) 
 
 
I won't go into great detail what kind of new features these little teaser images announce... see whether you can make sense of it, and let us know whether you like what you see! |

I like very much... I can see loads of flexibilty in those different effects. They will be fun to try.
Will we be able to use 2 or more of the effects in the same picture? |

Allow me to be cheeky and answer with a picture: 
I wouldn't quite call these things "effects". So, here's a challenge: Can anybody name the feature that we're showing off here?

Yep I have a new avatar now... just felt like changing it a bit. It's one of the few things that I did myself on TheBroth in terms of artworks. A diver scared of sharks (I really *am* scared of sharks).
Here's some more pics that may hint at what that new feature is that's responsible for all this:

-semi-transparent tiles
-differently shaped tiles (circles, triangles, ect.)
-letters

| I love it! The new tile textures look very artistic. Pictures no.4 and no.3 (the bottom row) remind me of some Neo-Impressionist artworks (Pointillism and Motillism techniques). Congratulations |

thats exactly what i thought it was as i clicked on the subject!!!!!
if anyone has watched the REBORN video for stone sour, you'll imagine what i expected here (pink pong, smoking, bobbleheads, arcade games) lol

| The one with different shapes looks like a great idea, but are the shapes going to be random, or can you pick what shapes go with what colors? These are really great ideas |

Of course it will be... would I disappoint you?
Nobody has guessed the exact name of that feature yet... do you need a hint? The textures are not just stock textures.. so what are they? hint, hint? |
