Hi Vic.
lol is an ACRONYM..
An acronym is a word whose letters are the first letters of other words. People often create a short word that means the same thing as a much longer phrase (set of words), to make it faster and shorter to say the long phrase
In this case lol is meant to mean Laughs out loud. (Although it can mean other things aswell)
You have to understand the context of the sentance to workout what the writer intended lol to actually mean.
Do a Google search for Acronym and it will give you a better idea. |
