Obviously we can't have failed to notice the advertising links all over the site...and if it helps to pay for keeping the site going, so be it.

Just one question to the Devels though.
Do you get any financial advantage from players clicking on the links?...

If so then we should know about it so we can do a bit of 'duty clicking' as a means of supporting the site. (not that I'm that interested in a flight from Perth you understand...lol) Question Cool Question

Do not click ANY ads unless you're really interested in it.

Any incentivised or fraudulent clicks can easily be detected by Google and then they may boot us out of the Adsense program and we'd have NO more income.

So, I apologize for the huge amount of ads in the forum. It's more like a trial and we're going to see what the effect is.

It's only in your way if there is only few posts. If it's too intrustive and annoying we'll remove it.

Understood MorningStar...As long as we know...

Actually they aren't too obtrusive and I do find myself reading them, so hopefully The players can learn to live with them.

Actually Perth doesn't seem to be such a bad Idea after all (It's raining here)... Rolling Eyes

I constantly click on them by accident. I don't mean to, but the ones at the bottom closest to the tiles get the most clicks, it becomes pretty annoying.

Also, they open in the same window, which takes you out of the room you were working in. Could it possibly open in a new window instead?

I don't know what browser you're using, but if it's Firefox you need to hold down the Ctrl key when clicking a link and it opens in a different 'Tab'
If you're not using Firefox...ask yourself why not? Very Happy

Firefox is not all that. I prefer Netcaptor, this avoids all the pop up ads. Gotta love that!

Actually, Firefox is 'all that'. What pop up ads are you seeing in Firefox? I don't remember seeing any...

I'm not saying you need to switch from IE, but you'd be doing yourself and other WWW users a favour if you did.

hmmm.... I smell something else under all of this. No, I don't like Firefox, in my opinion it isn't all that. Now, you can say what you like, but I prefer Netcaptor above all browsers. It's a personal choice.

No desire at all... to do ANYTHING. Thanks for the tip though.
