|
|
| Because of the Active Rooms page, I find that I am using the Members Room less and less, if at all. I think that the Active Rooms feature is so good that it overshadows the Members Room, making it sort of obsolete. Is it needed anymore? It was good before the Active Rooms page; I would go there to collaborate with members. Now, I can just go to Active Rooms and pick a room with members already in there! To me, this renders the Members Room useless. Developers and players, what are your opinions? |

| Understand where you're coming from on this. To be fair most of the 'regulars' set up a room and share the passwords. I don't think I've seen the members room used as a meeting point often if at all. |

I must apologize for this, it seems that the same group gathers up to make artwork in private rooms. Although, if we've met you and know you we will be sending out webpage addy's and passwords in your PM's. So, look out for these.
If the colors are right in the members room we usually work there. |

| yes, ppl r tending to meet in locked rooms, and work there more often now. i wud rather work in a un-locked room personally...so EVERYONE can work on the art. the only problem is that everyone includes the 'wreckers' too. |

It's funny that you say that, aren't those 4-locked rooms I see in your profile? J/k |

I use locked rooms for my daughter to have a goor try to get better at this but I think if everyone joins into little cliques in rooms nre members like me may feel excluded?
Maybe there should be a knock policy where u can put in your name and the room owner can check your profile to see if your a wrecker and decide if to let you in. |

I like the "knock, knock" idea a lot!
In general, I agree with the notion that the members room isn't really as necessary as it used to be. For the time being though it's a good first navigation target for newcomers. We may soon remove it, as we're planning some tutorials and guided tours that will make the concept of member-only rooms clearer. |
