== HOW TO SUBMIT A USEFUL BUG REPORT ==
First of all, thank you for considering a bug report in the first place, we certainly appreciate it.
In order to make it easier for the developers to fix problems, it's important that you provide as much detail as possible when you describe the problem, so please always include the following:
1) What is your browser version? (don't just say "Firefox" or "IE", we need to know the exact version)
2) What is your operating system (same thing, don't just say "Windows")
3) When did the error occur (include your time zone)
Then, describe the problem from these 3 angles:
1) Describe what you intended to do
2) Describe what really happened (include the actual URLs that were involved)
3) Describe what SHOULD have happened
Once again, we need to know what you tried to do, what really happened, and what'd rather expect to happen instead.
The most important thing here is for your description to be accurate enough so that developers can reproduce it.
Remember that not everything is a bug - sometimes things are supposed to be the way they are according to the motto "It's not a bug, it's a feature!".
Typically it's the introduction of new features that initially causes some bugs.
Also, when responding to bug reports in the forum, check the date of the post reporting it - the bug may already be fixed.
Thank you for your attention - we try to keep nasty bugs away as much as possible so you can enjoy a problem-free and fun TheBroth experience |
