Be nice, have fun, and stay safe!

We've put up safety guidelines. These tips govern not only blogging but also everything else you do at TheBroth.

What many people often forget is that anything that's been on the internet, even just briefly, is very quickly indexed by search engines, thanks to their "robots" that they send out that often find new content within minutes of posting it.

So, to stay safe, be careful whom you trust. Be mindful of what you post - you may not feel it is embarrassing when you openly discuss people in your environment, but they may well do.

Imagine your identity becomes exposed for one reason or another, and there was this blog entry of yours where you mentioned what drunk uncle Tony did at the last family party (or your teacher or employer!) He's not going to be all that pleased reading about it - and this is just a very tame example of what can happen if you're not mindful of the privacy of others.

So - please be mindful of your own safety and the privacy of others, including other members of TheBroth but also your real world family and friends.

Remember, be nice, have fun... and stay safe!
