for those of you thinking that my comments yesterdaqy were over the top, i apologize. sincerely, most of them were actual posits on theory and aesthetics... but in rereading them it seemed rather nasty... perhaps because of the dense structure and use of interrogatives.

please, though irritated by comments by Holly and Attention Seeker, it was not my intention to respond in kind.

hey holly,

yesterday i did an artwork that someone misread and thought i was insulting them, which wasn't the case... so i also went back and reread the comments i wrote you and saw that some of them could come across as mean-spirited. if your feelings were hurt or you felt insulted, i'm sorry.

i was annoyed at your insistent and repetitive comments on what constituted art, and replied to your comments, trying to ask questions to get us thinking about what defines 'art'.

if anything i wrote seemed vindictive or mean-spirited, please forgive me.
