Well this is my chance to finally become popular. TheBroth now has a friends system, and everyone can see how many friends you have (and I have).
Well - if you're still in highschool as you read this, then the overwhelming desire to be popular may be familar to you. I had it too when I was in highschool. It's so long ago I wonder whether I ever really was there. Naturally, I didn't ask myself then why exactly it was that I wanted to be popular, and what highschool popularity could possibly afford me in later life...
Well as it turns out, it didn't afford me bugger-all (as they say down-under), but hey, TheBroth gives those that like me have avoided to gracefully age (and possibly mature) a second chance to explore that weird and wonderful popularity thing.
So, by means of being some kind of defacto VIP at thebroth, I am going to see how hard, difficult, or easy it will be to manage my TheBroth friends with our new-fangled friends system.
I am aware that many other sites that are built on social networking also have friends systems, and they may work in similar ways or slightly different, who knows, who cares... we have a vision for a friends system that is very "TheBroth" through-and-through, and hopefully it will once again make collaborative art and fun easier still - time will tell.
So, how many friends have you got? :-)
Hello, this is Markus Weichselbaum, testing my first blog entry.
You can use BBcode for some limited formatting, such as bold and italic.
You can post images and you can make clickable links, for example this one goes back to my profile: http://www.thebroth.com/profile2824.html
Isn't that cool!? :-)
I also made a blog entry about this here: Announcement: user blogs in the developer blog
