Lately, I've been scared of something strange. Very strange. What is this new phobia, you ask? Doors. Yup, doors, specifically closed doors. In the past week, doors have been swinging open on people walking past them.
Incident number 1: I was walking with my friend and we were trying to avoid the crowded stairway and we were waling near this door. I had this really weird feeling and decided to walk around the path of the door (for some odd reason) and all of a sudden, BOOM the door opens on this poor unsuspecting guy. It was pretty hard too. He kinda ran into it and the person opened the door really fast.
Incident number 2: My (dramatic) friend almost gets hit by the door she is opening by someone on the other side. She screamed loudly even though she kinda saw the door coming.
Incident number 3: We were rushing to a classroom to get the fundraising materials and we were just about get to the door when WHOOSH my teacher opened the door and almost hit my friend. She joked that she almost got killed by the door later then we noticed the strange events relating to doors...
Incident number 4: So that brings us to today. The cafeteria doors were locked (from the outside) and my phobia of doors was getting to me, so I decided to wait a while before knocking on it. Just as I was about to knock, both doors opened and then I knew that doors were out to get us...
So be careful, doors are just waiting to jump out at you!
So the other day I was in my Foods class and when I walked in, I smelled some brownies. They weren't selling any until they were cooled, so I didn't buy one and got a hot chocolate. Well, then one of the people at my table got a "free sample" and shared it. I took one bite of it and I don't think it was cooked all the way through. I'm really glad I didn't buy one because it was really nasty!
Moral of the story: Never buy food from high school cooks in training...
