   The red of the stars symbolize the bloody nature of war while the squinty eyed pigs symbolize the near sightedness of the endeavor. The pigs are thin, emaciated. They have trekked far in their pursuit of glory, only to find it snatched away in the dead of night. They are bitter. They are the living casualties of war. Hardened, toughened - too tough for pork chops. Not tough enough for shoe leather. They dwell in a limbo in between worlds of utility. How best can they serve mankind now, but to lay down their lives in war? Who will save their bacon now? Maybe it's too late already. But still they march on into the endless night. Alone together. Beautiful in its ugliness.

   Armed with colored pencils and inkwell helmets, these hessian swine go off to editorialize the infamous Butcher's Wife Infantry whose unprovoked attack upon the Disabled Rodent Republic caused a jingoistic battle of verbosity and image to erupt across the Orwellian combat zone.
