   I thought that the Cyrillic alphabet shows how to pronounce a word and not how to spell it letter by letter. I've got Michael Jackson's gramophone record made in Bulgaria and it says Майкьл Джексьн and not Мицхаел Йацксон.

   In Serbian language we read as it is written ("Write as you speak and read as it is written" Vuk Stefanović Karadžić) so it would be амбишс џрбл :) Serbian language can be written in two different alphabets: Serbian Cyrillic script and the Serbian Latin script.
