   Making the shadow lighter than the subject is an interesting idea that apparently works. The detail is there, moreso in the tail than anything, but still well deserving of the ol' plus vote.

   I think it looses nothing!! This is very cool! The detailing and shadows look great.(and it's my sign so of course I love it)

    Having put this together during the day the dark shades didnt stand out that well and most just looked very dark blue or black.
    
    Now I am looking at this at night and there are some definately dodgy colour selections used in places....:)
    
    Whooopppsss... Oh well. Perhaps I should only do these at night then....:)
